Who made eragon the movie series#
Disney is a master of selling merchandise to kids through their many brands like Disney Princess, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an increased demand for action figures, Lego sets, plushies and clothing of characters and moments from the Eragon TV series if it was made. Similar to other franchises like Star Wars and Marvel, there are millions if not billions of potential dollars to be made off the merchandise and theme-park attractions across the world. Eragon would also be a huge potential series about a young farm boy who becomes the last of the extinct Dragon Riders after he discovers a lone dragon egg. A painful reminder of what fantasy cinema was like before the Lord of the Rings trilogy re-wrote the rules. Eragon would sit alongside other Disney+ original fantasy series Percy Jackson and The Olympians, Willow and The Beauty and The Beast prequel series Little Town. In his homeland of Alagaesia, a farm boy happens upon a dragon's egg - a discovery that leads him on a predestined journey where he realizes he's the one person who can defend his home against an evil king. If Disney decides to #RemakeEragon it would be a great fantasy series that would help even out Disney+’s slate of original series, which is currently heavy on series based on the Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe franchises. Stefen Fangmeier made his directorial debut with Eragon.

So why is this relevant to the title? Well, let me explain why Disney+ should #RemakeEragon. In May of 2020, after a large effort from fans of the Percy Jackson book series as well as the author of the series Rick Riordan pushing for the #DisneyAdaptPercyJackson movement, Disney announced a TV series based on the beloved middle-grade novel series.
